Kiln firing

Every firing in one clear flow

Firing requests arrive with clay type, cone, piece count and date. Move each load from needs-action through firing to ready-for-pickup — and potters stay informed automatically, no chasing.

Wheel rental

Wheel time, booked and approved

Publish your wheels and hours. Potters request open slots, you approve — and every pending request and confirmed rental sits in one place. No more DMs and voicemail tag.

Workshops

Run one-off classes or full series

Build a workshop once, then schedule a single class or a recurring series. Seats and registrations track themselves, so you always know who's coming.

Why studios choose us

Built to fit how you already work

Structured requests

Bookings arrive clean — clay type, cone, piece count, dates — so there's no guessing what someone wants.

Approve on your terms

Review each request. Say yes to the fits, no to the rest. The potter is notified either way.

Pause anytime

One toggle hides your studio — or just one service — while you're away. Turn it back on when you're ready.

Track through your dashboard

Update firing status as pieces move from dropped off to loaded to firing to ready. Potters see it live.

Reach new potters

Potters in your area discover you on Helping U Help. No ads, no algorithms — just the right people.

You stay in control

Your prices. Your schedule. Your studio. Helping U Help is a tool, not a boss.

How it works

From sign-up to first booking

1

Apply to list your studio

Submit your studio details. We review each application before approval.

2

Set up your services

Add kiln pricing, publish wheel hours and rates, and schedule your workshops — whichever you offer.

3

Bookings come in

Potters request firings, reserve wheel time, and register for workshops. You get an email for each.

4

Confirm and coordinate

Wheel sessions and workshops are pre-paid and confirm instantly. Kiln requests you review, price, and approve — then coordinate drop-off through in-app chat. Payments run securely through the platform.

5

Deliver the service

For workshops and wheel time, your potter simply arrives at the booked slot. For kiln firings, update the status — dropped off, loaded, firing, ready — and potters follow along in real time.

Questions

Frequently asked

How much does it cost?

It’s free for studios during early access — you keep 100% of what you charge, with no commission. See the pricing page for details.

Do I have to offer all three services?

No. Offer kiln firing, wheel rental, workshops, or any combination. Set up only what fits — you can add more anytime.

Do I have to accept every booking?

It depends on the service. For kiln firings, you review each request and can decline ones you can't take — a clay body or firing type you don't service, or a capacity issue. Wheel sessions and workshops are different: they're instant and pre-paid, so they confirm automatically and can't be declined after the fact. If you're not able to take wheel or workshop bookings, set that service to not offered (or don't list it) so potters don't book something you can't honour. Please be considerate about what you make available — only offer what you can genuinely deliver, so no potter is left with a booking you can't fulfil.

Can I set my own hours and availability?

Yes. You set turnaround times, wheel hours, and workshop schedules, choose which bookings to accept, and pause anytime.

How do I get paid?

Potters pay securely by card through the platform, and payouts go to your own connected account. You’ll set that up once when you join — after that, payments for firings, wheel time, and workshops flow straight to you.

How long does approval take?

We review applications within 24 hours. You'll get an email once your studio is approved and ready for bookings.
